What We Collect
When you use the AI Video Score browser extension, we collect:
- Video URLs and IDs — the web addresses and identifiers of videos you scan, used to look up existing results and build our detection library
- AI detection scores — numerical results from each scan
- Detection method — which signal produced the verdict (Hive AI scan, SightEngine scan, YouTube's own AI label, or community comment patterns)
- Platform information — which video platform the scan happened on (YouTube, etc.)
- Feedback events — when you click the "Wrong?" button on a verdict, we log the video ID and the original score so we can review and improve accuracy
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Your general browsing history (we only see video URLs from videos that are actually scanned)
- Account credentials, passwords, or login information
- Payment information
- Your IP address (beyond what is briefly visible to our servers during a scan request)
- Precise location data
When We Collect It
The extension only activates on supported video platforms (currently YouTube). It does not run on other websites and does not collect anything outside of video pages.
How We Use It
- Library lookups — to check if a video has already been scanned and show you the result instantly
